Addams Family Pinball Machine for Sale Australia: Overview
The Addams Family came out in March 1992. Midway released it under the Bally name. Pat Lawlor and Larry DeMar designed it, and it is based on the 1991 film. John Youssi drew the art, and Chris Granner made the sound and music. It runs on Williams WPC Fliptronics electronics, supports one to four players, and uses speech taken from the film’s stars.
People still want this table because it is easy to learn and hard to master. A new player can enjoy it in the first game. A veteran can chase big jackpots for years. That is why home game rooms, pubs and collectors keep asking for it.
This Addams Family pinball machine for sale Australia listing is the standard 1992 version, fully refurbished. Want the rarer Gold edition? Read on.
Key Features of the Addams Family Pinball Machine
- Thing, the moving hand. It pops out of a box on the playfield and grabs the ball.
- Thing Flips. One flipper is also controlled by the game, so it can flip the ball for you.
- Rotating bookcase. It opens to lock balls and builds toward multiball.
- Magnets under the playfield. They make the ball move in surprising ways.
- Four flippers and five pop bumpers. Fast, busy play from the first ball.
- Film speech and music. Custom speech from the film’s stars, plus a spooky soundtrack.
- Mansion-themed missions. You tour the Addams house and work toward the Vault.
Addams Family Gold Pinball Machine
The Addams Family Gold is the Special Collectors Edition. Bally made it in 1994 to celebrate the record sales of the standard game. Only about 1,000 were built. Each one has gold trim, a numbered plate, a certificate signed by the design team, and slightly updated software.
Be careful when you shop. Some standard games were also built with gold cabinets late in the run. They are not the true Collectors Edition. If you want an Addams Family pinball in real Gold, tell us. Stock is limited, and we can help track down a genuine unit.
