The Pokemon Pro Pinball machine takes the same chase you grew up with — spinning a Poké Ball, training your team, facing down Team Rocket — and puts it on a real playfield with real flippers and a steel ball. Built by Stern Pinball under official licence, it’s the first time the Pokémon world has ever been made into a full arcade machine.

Inside the Pokemon Pro Pinball Experience

Step up to the machine and you’re a Trainer, not just a player. The playfield is split into four habitats, and your job is to work through each one, discovering and “catching” Pokémon along the way by hitting the illuminated, mechanically animated Poké Ball target. An animatronic Pikachu reacts as you play, a Meowth balloon toy swings into the arena to challenge you mid-game, and rival battles play out through custom sequences that ramp up the tension as your Pokédex fills in. The instantly recognisable Pokémon theme song plays throughout, tying the whole experience back to the original 90s anime.

Every Pokemon Pro Pinball unit runs on Stern’s SPIKE 3 hardware, which drives an 18.5-inch HD display for in-game video and animation, paired with an upgraded stereo sound system. Players can also link the machine to a Stern Insider Connected account, which tracks your Pokémon collection and achievements online — so progress isn’t lost once you walk away from the cabinet.

Yes. It’s produced by Stern Pinball in partnership with The Pokémon Company International, so the art, sound, and video content are all official.

What’s the difference between the Pro model and the Premium or LE?

The Pro is the base model with the full core gameplay — habitats, Poké Ball capture, Meowth toy, and video animations. Premium and Limited Edition versions add extras like an interactive electromagnet and, on the LE, numbered plaques and upgraded lighting.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes, the game plays fully offline. An internet connection is only needed if you want to use Stern Insider Connected to track your progress online.

How many people can play at once?

Standard pinball rules apply — up to four players can take turns on one machine.

Can I test it before ordering?
