Overview of the Iron Maiden Pro Pinball Machine

Stern hadn’t made an Iron Maiden machine in over 35 years before this one landed, and it was built to feel like it. The Iron Maiden Pro pinball machine puts you in the boots of Eddie, the band’s mascot, on a mission to take down the Beast and his minions across the world of Iron Maiden’s “Legacy of the Beast” mobile game and comic universe.

The cabinet and playfield are covered in artwork from rock poster artist Jeremy Packer (Zombie Yeti), packed with flames, lightning, and multiple versions of Eddie in different forms. It’s built to bring the energy of an actual Iron Maiden concert to your games room, not just slap the band’s logo on a generic layout.

The Pro is the entry point into the Iron Maiden line-up — same core ruleset as the Premium and Limited Edition, in a leaner package built around a fully redesigned playfield.

Key Features of the Iron Maiden Pro Pinball Machine

• Twelve selectable Iron Maiden songs — including Aces High, Number of the Beast, Fear of the Dark, Flight of Icarus, The Trooper, Powerslave, and more
• Four flippers — two on the main playfield, two on the upper playfield, for genuinely varied shot-making
• Metal ramps — not plastic, for a sturdier, more premium feel under repeated play
• Newton ball feature and captive ball mechanism — physical playfield mechanics that add depth beyond standard shots
• Dual up-post lock mechanism — for multiball setups tied directly into the ruleset
• Two spinners, three pop bumpers, and a 3-bank drop target set — classic pinball mechanics layered into a modern build
• Center bullseye target — a dedicated shot woven into the Legacy of the Beast storyline
• Zombie Yeti cabinet and playfield artwork — original artwork built specifically for this title, not reused stock art
• Stern Insider Connected — track progress, unlock game-specific achievements, and join Challenge Quests online

Who the Iron Maiden Pro Pinball Machine Is For

This machine is worth a look if you fall into one of these groups:

• Iron Maiden and heavy metal fans who want the band represented properly — real songs, real artwork, not a licensing afterthought.
• Players who want variety in their shots. Four flippers and two spinners give you more to work with than a standard two-flipper layout, without tipping into overly complex territory.
• Home games room owners after a machine that’s built for regular play — metal ramps and a modern rule set hold up better long-term than older, more delicate cabinets.
• Buyers weighing up the Iron Maiden line-up who want the Premium/LE ruleset and artwork without paying for the extra hardware those editions add.

Why Buy the Iron Maiden Pro Pinball Machine

What makes the Pro worth considering is that it isn’t a stripped-down version of the story — it runs the same core ruleset as the Premium and LE, just without their extra mechanical features. You still get the full Legacy of the Beast narrative, all twelve songs, and the same Zombie Yeti artwork, in a package built around metal ramps and a genuinely varied four-flipper layout.

It’s also a machine that rewards repeat play. The combination of the Newton ball, captive ball mechanism, and dual up-post lock means there’s real depth to work through once you’ve learned the basic shots, which is part of why Stern brought the license back after more than three decades away from it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the Iron Maiden Pro Pinball Machine and Premium/LE models?

All three run the same core Legacy of the Beast ruleset, songs, and artwork. The Premium and LE editions add extra mechanical features and hardware on top of what the Pro includes — ask us for a full breakdown if you’re deciding between them.

How many songs are on the Iron Maiden Pro Pinball Machine?

Twelve selectable Iron Maiden tracks, including Aces High, Number of the Beast, Fear of the Dark, Flight of Icarus, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Can I Play With Madness, Run to the Hills, The Trooper, Powerslave, and Wasted Years.

Is this a good machine for a first-time buyer?

The four-flipper layout adds variety without being overwhelming, and the drop targets and spinners give newer players plenty to aim for while they build up their shot-calling. It suits a wide range of skill levels.

Are the ramps really metal, not plastic?

Yes. Stern built the Iron Maiden Pro with metal ramps rather than the plastic ramps used on some other titles, which holds up better under heavy or repeated play.

Do you ship the Iron Maiden Pro pinball machine Australia-wide?

Yes. We deliver to every state and territory, fully insured and professionally packed, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart, and Darwin.

Can I see the Iron Maiden Pro Pinball Machine in person before buying?
