Guardians of the Galaxy Pro Pinball Machine | Stern

Guardians of the Galaxy Pro Pinball Machine (Stern, 2017)

Marvel’s ragtag band of misfit heroes translates into pinball better than most licensed themes manage — plenty of humour, genuine tension, and a rogues’ gallery of toys that actually do something. The Stern Guardians of the Galaxy Pro pinball machine puts Star-Lord, Rocket, Gamora, Drax, and Groot up against the villain Ronan in a race to stop him using the Infinity Stone to destroy the galaxy, and it’s held up well enough since release to currently sit at a Pinside rating of 8.15 out of 10, ranking second within its own game group inside the site’s Pinball Top 100.

Aussie Arcade Games sources, tests, and configures every Stern Guardians of the Galaxy Pro pinball machine for sale Australia buyers, so what arrives is a fully calibrated, ready-to-play table rather than a factory box you’re left to set up yourself.

Overview of Guardians of the Galaxy Pro Pinball Machine

At the heart of the Pro’s playfield is a hand-crafted, interactive Groot “bash head” toy — shoot the ball into his open mouth to lock balls and trigger playfield multipliers, kicking off one of the game’s signature multiball modes. Alongside him sits a custom-sculpted Rocket figure that blasts the ball back at speed, keeping players on their toes rather than simply absorbing shots passively.

The central mystery of the game plays out through a color-changing, interactive Orb that opens over the course of play to reveal the Infinity Stone itself, while three playfield magnets let Ronan seize control during multiball to divert the ball and create genuine chaos rather than a predictable pattern. Eight interactive gameplay modes give the game real structure, backed by original music from composer Ken Hale and striking hand-drawn artwork from Christopher Franchi, along with humorous audio clips pulled directly from the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films.

Guardians of the Galaxy Pro Pinball Machine: Specifications

Who It’s For

The Stern Guardians of the Galaxy Pro pinball machine suits a specific type of buyer particularly well:

• Marvel fans who enjoy the franchise’s humour, since the game leans into the comedic tone of the films rather than playing the theme straight.
• Players who want a genuinely well-regarded modern Stern title, given its strong, sustained Pinside rating and Top 100 ranking within its own game group.
• Buyers wanting core mechanical interactivity without the highest price tier, since the bash-head Groot toy, Rocket figure, and Orb are all present on the Pro, not held back for the Premium or Limited Edition.
• Collectors who appreciate structured, mode-driven gameplay, thanks to the eight interactive modes and multiple distinct multiball variations giving clear objectives across a full game.
• First-time modern pinball buyers, since the Pro’s simpler mechanical layout compared with the Premium and LE keeps long-term maintenance more straightforward.

Why Buy Guardians of the Galaxy Pro Pinball Machine

What makes this Pro edition genuinely worth considering on its own merits — rather than as a stepping stone to a pricier edition — is how much of the game’s core identity survives at this tier. The interactive Groot and Rocket toys, the Orb mystery mechanic, and Ronan’s magnet-driven multiball chaos are all present and fully functional, delivering the thematic and mechanical highlights the franchise is known for without needing the Premium’s extra magnets or Limited Edition’s custom artwork to feel complete.

Backed by a sustained 8.15 Pinside rating years after release, this is a title that’s proven its staying power with the collector community rather than relying on Marvel’s name alone — a strong signal for anyone weighing up whether it’s worth adding to a home collection or venue lineup.

Why Buy Guardians of the Galaxy Pro Pinball Machine from Us

A pinball machine built around an interactive bash-head toy, a moving Orb mechanism, and magnet-driven ball control needs careful calibration to feel the way it’s meant to — a poorly adjusted Groot mechanism or sluggish magnet response can undercut the game’s best features. Every Stern Guardians of the Galaxy Pro pinball machine we sell is fully bench-tested and calibrated before it leaves our workshop, with particular attention paid to the Groot toy, Rocket figure, and playfield magnets.

We also handle local delivery and light in-home assembly, so a full-size cabinet is never something you have to manoeuvre into position yourself, and we’re on hand for ongoing servicing questions long after the sale.
